The CSK162 protected assault vehicle is mainly used as an infantry combat team combat vehicle to perform rapid deployment tasks on the battlefield. It can also be modified accordingly according to different missions.
1. Meet the requirements for high-mobility off-road vehicles and adapt to driving on graded highways, rural dirt roads, emergency military roads and roadless areas (referring to a certain degree of undulations, mud, sandy jungles, etc.)
2. The height of the vehicle is less than 2000mm, and it can be transported by IL-76 and Y8 aircraft, landing ships, and railway flat cars. It can be airdropped by IL-76 aircraft.
3. The tires have the function of driving when deflated. After any two tires are deflated, they can travel at least 30km at a speed of 30~40km/h on a well-paved road; the fuel tank has explosion suppression measures.

The car body is composed of an integral truss-type fully protected passenger compartment, front and rear suspension and main reducer mounting frames. The passenger compartment is welded from protective ballistic steel plates. The passenger compartment is fully protected, and the engine compartment is fully protected except for the bottom.
